Join NEKTU volunteers for a clean up of the access trails in the trophy stretch of the Passumpsic River in the heart of downtown St Johnsbury.

About The Event
Join us for a river access clean-up event on the Passumpsic River on October 26th, 2024. Volunteers will focus on flood damage restoration, removal of litter, debris clearing, and improvements to access points along the trophy stretch in the heart of St. Johnsbury.
This event is open to all community members and is an excellent opportunity for families, students, and local businesses to engage in environmental stewardship while enjoying the outdoors.
Meet at Fred Mold Park (Parking on Concord Ave and Elm Ave) at 9:30AM. Teams will be disbursed to begin work at 10AM.
What to Bring: Gloves, sturdy shoes, water bottle, ear and eye protection
Trout Unlimited will provide all necessary tools, but volunteers are welcome to bring their own string trimmers, loppers, pruners, rakes, shovels, limb saws to help with the effort.
Following clean-up efforts, all volunteers will be served lunch, at the Bike Path Pavilion on Bay…
