About The Event
"Forget the brook trout you think you know. Fall spawning in New England, which is extremely challenging to locate and observe, transforms these fish into something else entirely.
With support from Fish and Game and the GUVTU, Peter Abdu spent 18 days and over 100 hours in 50F water capturing 20,000 images of spawning native brook trout. At spawning sites teeming with 100 fish, some exceeding 30 inches, Peter documented incredible behaviors and rare moments.
This presentation will showcase those experiences and visuals, offering a truly unique glimpse into the lives of these remarkable fish."
